This sequence of photos were taken at Mori Point in Pacifica, California in July 6, 2016. The Brown Pelican was tangled with a long fishing lure. Animal Care and Control had been called to take him into custody.
Is it just me or does that net look too small for the job?
I think I was rooting for Brown Pelican. So…yay!
